Busy Girl

Riley was helping Daddy on the computer. They start so young these days.

Then, she was determined to put Daddy's boots on, which she did with only supporting help from Mommy.

The Reader

As you can see, Riley was enjoying a good read this day. She's got her own little chair that she just loves, and she sat down in it with her books and the newspaper of all things and was reading out loud. The first two photos above show her perusing her "library" for a suitable book. Usually they just all end up on the floor.

A visit with Grandma and Grandpa

St. Louis

We all went to St. Louis on mother's day to go to the zoo and botanical gardens. It was a wonderful weekend with perfect weather and we all had a lot of fun. It will be nice to go back when Riley is older and can enjoy it even more.

Outside

It was a beautiful day this afternoon so we had some fun out in the yard before supper. Riley mostly interested in the white landscaping rocks that I so want to get rid of.

Watching the Boob Tube

Riley really doesn't pay much attention to the TV, but something caught her eye on this day. She just looks cute sitting up on the couch like a big person.

Family Visit

Art's mom and brother came to visit a little over a week ago. So there was plenty of cuddling and making of funny faces as you can see. It was a very nice visit.

I'm No Couch Potato

One should take the chance to exercise at every opportunity, as Riley demonstrates. She lives to climb onto the couch now.
